Hans Patel

Hans Patel is a senior at Bergen County Technical High School in Teterboro studying Financial Technology. Hans serves as the Co-Chief Executive Officer of Futures Financials, starting as an officer member at 13 years of age when it was founded in 2022. He now directs strategy, partnerships, finances, education, and management of the nonprofit. Hans's activism with Futures Financials earned him an ambassador position at FinMango, a leading financial health company, founded an AI simulated investment platform TickerSphere, and was given the honor from his high school to teach financial aid classes to rising seniors as well as a weekly elective "Project Finance" to 30 students each semester.

Hans's work has received recognition from the 2026 Money and Inclusion Awards (Best School-Age Project), Young Ambassadors Program by the US Department of State, Seton Hall's Pirates Pitch Incubator, and the youngest person to be an ambassador for FinMango at 16 years of age. He has authored a research paper on Taylor Swift's Eras Tour's Impact on the Economy which was published in the Federal Reserve's Journal of Future Economists and is currently coauthoring two additional papers on economics with Harvard University and Montclair State University.

Being born in a one-bedroom apartment in an underfunded school district to then transitioning into a top magnet school, he firsthand witnessed the difference that education, especially financial education, can have on the behavior and intellectual development of students, at a time that is so crucial for the coming years of adulthood. He shares his journey by featuring on news, podcasts, and writing research papers on critical issues.
